New Ebook Details Trump’s White House Policies and the Fierce Battles They’d Ignite

"I am really concerned." Then 2012 presidential contender Donald Trump told an interviewer on "Fox & Friends" in March, 2011 "that this is the president of the United States -- that remember. ... He could have been born outside of this country. Why can't he produce a birth certificate?” He repeated the demand twice. The birther issue was the one issue that Trump knew would get the tongues wagging and tons of invitations to guest on network TV shows. It did much more.

Political analyst Earl Ofari Hutchinson fasts forwards to Friday, January 20, 2017. If elected, that’s the day “President” Trump would officially take office. For millions that is an unthinkable horror. But what if it happens? In How “President” Trump will Govern, Hutchinson sifts through his interviews, statements, and writings over the years to piece together the exact shape of a Trump White House. He covers the entire range of Trump policy stances on China, Russia, ISIS, Syria, North Korea, Iran, the Arab-Israeli battles, gun control, health care, the veteran’s administration, civil rights and liberties, immigration, and the Supreme Court.

“Contrary to popular belief, Trump has actually put together extremely detailed proposals for his White House reign that total 9,034 words and 24 space and a half pages,” Hutchinson notes,” The proposals sprawl over seven policy areas. Unfortunately, his positions on the issues are like the Bible, many quote it, cite it, swear by and at it, and denounce it, but how many have actually read it? I mean really read it? Hutchinson takes a minute look at Trump’s plan to govern in his Trump’s own words.

Trump is the most unorthodox and conflicted non-politician ever to run for the presidency. Here’s two examples that Hutchinson cites and examines that defy the conventional GOP conservative orthodoxy. “On civil rights and civil liberties, he accepts the Supreme Court decision in support of gay marriage, says he’s “fine” with affirmative action, and will enforce the laws on hate crimes. He’s disparaged the Black Lives Matter movement, but did acknowledge that black lives do matter.

He’ll let states decide what they’ll do about medical marijuana, legalizing marijuana, and the drug laws.”
In How “President” Trump will Govern, Hutchinson, warns that the Supreme Court would be a prime target of a Trump administration. His favorite judge is Clarence Thomas.

“There are three numbers that tell the colossal danger that a would be President Trump poses to the Supreme Court. The numbers are the ages of the three justices, Justice Anthony Kennedy, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, and Justice Stephen Breyer. They are all near or over age 80, and they are the liberals,” says Hutchinson, “A Thomas or Scalia clone nominee would ignite the titanic battle.”

Can a Trump White House actually happen? Hutchinson reminds that at the first GOP presidential debate in August, 2015, in Cleveland, Ohio, there were seventeen would be GOP presidential contenders on the stage. Eight months later, Trump was the only one still standing. He had beaten all the predictions and the odds. Now the big question was in a general election showdown with Hillary Clinton could he really win? The even bigger question was if that happened, just how would President Trump actually govern?

In How “President” Trump will Govern, Hutchinson paints a sometimes terrifying, sometimes, shocking, and always contradictory, confusing, but fascinating picture of a Trump White House that would be like no other in American history.
