Today on UCW Radio host Louis Velazquez aka Falcon Coperis had the up and coming singer/songwriter Alexx Calise on the show. The female rocker that was born in Florida found her way out to California were she is pursuing her passion for music, with one full blown album out, one three song album and now her third album, yet to be titled, is all her.

The meaning of all her is this, she wrote the music, she is arranging the music, she is doing all the engineering work on it, as well as performing obviously, in short it is literally all of her, and that may be a good title for the album.

“Alexx Calise is a refreshing music artist on the scene“ stated Louis Velazquez, “she is not that cookie cutter pop out pop singer that producers spit out like every week, this girl is real“ he added.

Calise began learning music at the age of 11 then started pursuing music professional at the age of 14, since moving to California she has produced two albums working on her third, she is endorsed by over 13 music gear/clothing manufacturers, she has appeared in several national TV commercials (Almay, Cherry 7Up, Cover Girl) and she has been featured and/or interviewed in Blender magazine, Guitar World, and the how-to/method book, "How to Succeed as a Female Musician" alongside such notable musicians as Lisa Loeb and The Donnas. Her music is in heavy rotation on MTV/VH1 Networks, and her single, "Pull It (Bullet)" is one of the highest charting songs in AUS/NZ.

“Her edgy style alternative-pop-rock-electronica style puts her in the ranks with such female rockers as Janis Joplin, Blondie, Joan Jett, Heart, and Shirley Manson of Garbage.” Stated Louis Velazquez.

At the moment Calise is gearing up for an international military tour with the Armed Forces. Calise is also the other half of "Sound of Cancer," her new music project / production house with famed drummer/songwriter Dennis Morehouse, which provides and licenses music for film, TV and advertising campaigns.
