Collective Soul/Paul Rodgers drummer Ryan Hoyle announces the grand opening of LIVE DRUM TRACKS Studios in Los Angeles, which specializes in custom drum tracks by Ryan himself. “My concept is that I am using the finest instruments and analog outboard gear in a specialty state-of-the-art drum studio to record and export drum tracks of the very highest quality.” says Hoyle. “My method is to collaborate directly with the artist/producer/composer to capture the most magical performances and to deliver your sessions with a fully produced stereo mix and separate drum tracks giving you every option you will need to process and mix to your liking. It’s also amazing that with current technology I can record a drum track for a producer in Tokyo, London, or even Sydney and deliver it to them within minutes. It is my mission to provide major-label quality drum tracks across the globe in the most affordable and efficient package ever.” The studio also has a beautiful control room that accommodate those who want to be present to produce their own tracks, offering both Pro Tools and Logic recording software.

In addition to the vast selection of drums, cymbals, and percussion Ryan has collected over the years, the studio is equipped with Vintage API, Neve 1073, Langevin, and UA 610 tube pre-amps as well as Lynx Aurora converters and API eq’s. Our setup features some of the finest classic microphones ever created by Neumann, Microtech Gefell, AKG, Altec, Coles, Shure, etc. The studio is powered by an 16 processor Mac Pro tower and the room features commercial grade electrical with separate circuits and ground systems, solid oak floors, vaulted ceilings, beautifully designed bass traps, and RPG Omnifussor diffusors throughout.

Ryan extends his non-drumming services as well, including engineering the session himself and offering BASS tracking AS WELL AS FULL RHYTHM SECTIONS WITH LA’S TOP SESSION PLAYERS.
