Expectations of people from states where assembly elections held recently
The people of five states viz. Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Mizoram and Delhi are at present in comfort zone, as now they will not be approached by the party leaders and candidates with vote appeals till next election. All leaders have tried best to emerge as successful representatives of citizens of their constituencies, and now awaiting 8th December 2013, when results of all assembly elections held in last and this month will be declared.
Who so ever wins or loses impact of result lies directly upon people of concerned state. The leaders are used to give several assurances, but how many of them are taken care? It is sure that at least the winning candidate will not will be available to you frequently till next election as after declaration of result, either he will involve him fully to assist government (if his party gets or adjusts requisite seats to form a government) or sit in opposition to criticize decisions of the ruling party or alliance. Any way these things are very common and people of states and country as a whole are habitual of facing post election repercussions
After all elections are also games and one thing is sure that if for a particular seat, contestants are more, only one will have opportunity to smile. The losers should in real spirit accept defeats and assist the winner to fulfill expectations of people and particularly the commitments which he gave to citizens of the constituency before election. In real sense, the duties of winning party or the persons occupying prestigious seats become difficult as they have to take care of entire state. The ruling party leaders, immediately after occupying the responsible chairs, should shortlist premium requirements of the state and initiate actions without losing time. The areas which require utmost attention of ruling party are:
Education, Employment, Infrastructure, Corruption, Security etc.
If we look at Madhya Pradesh only, we find that the education standard of the state is not ranked high at country level. The students holding various degrees and diplomas from the state are not given priority over the candidates who are from other states, like Maharashtra, Gujarat, Tamil nadu etc. This reveals a very bad picture and now it is right time to introduce some unique courses along with present syllabus to enable even a student doing 12th or equivalent to emerge as a suitable candidate for a corporate or industry after completion of present course.
A strong education system is the cornerstone of any country’s growth and prosperity. Over the last decade, India has made great strides in strengthening its primary education system. The District Information System for Education (DISE) reported in 2012 that 95% of India’s rural populations are within one kilometer of primary schools. The 2011 Annual Status of Education Report (ASER), which tracks trends in rural education, indicated that enrollment rates among primary-school-aged children were about 93%, with little difference by gender.
India’s private-schooled, English-speaking urban elite may attract global attention, but they are in the minority. The vast majority of Indian children attend government-run primary schools in rural areas, and MP state is not exception. Thus the areas require pointed attention of persons in power and utilize the available funds to explore avenues to enrich present education system or else empress upon central government to extend grants to achieve goals.
PR 24x7 Network Limited the leading public relations company of the country congratulates all the winning candidates in assembly elections 2013 and requests them to initiate innovative steps to make a well educated, pollution free and secured state.
