Pune  May 17, 2010  Eniro and Amdocs today announced that Eniro has selected Amdocs to modernize and expand its performance-based, online advertising offering. Eniro has licensed Amdocs‘ digital advertising system under a managed services engagement model. Amdocs (NYSE: DOX) is the leading provider of customer experience systems and Eniro (OMX Stockholm Stock Exchange: ENRO) is the largest directory and search company in the Nordics.
The Amdocs system will provide Eniro with ad targeting and prioritization logic, and will enable Eniro to support hundreds of new publishing partners and expand its advertising network. As a result, Eniro will be able to offer advertisers and ad distribution partners advanced digital advertising capabilities.
“Eniro is transforming its business from print dependency to online opportunities. A cornerstone of our online strategy is to strengthen our position in pay-per-click search advertising,” said Jesper Kärrbrink, President, Eniro Group. “This initiative plays an essential part in our plan to grow faster in the Nordic online search market. Modern and sophisticated technology is crucial to deliver on this ambition.”
Eniro‘s digital advertising operations are growing rapidly and today serve hundreds of thousands of advertisers in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark and Poland. For example, its performance-based pay-per-click advertising is distributed across a network of 200 web sites. Eniro will consolidate multiple regional ad network management systems onto one Amdocs system to reduce operational costs and increase efficiencies, and to better monetize the growth in online traffic with its digital advertising offerings. Amdocs will manage the system‘s day-to-day IT operations.
Eniro will deploy Amdocs products for search and contextual ad serving using multi-dimensional targeting, and will use Amdocs products for ad campaign and budget management, distribution partner management and analytics.
