Egypt Yellow Pages Partners With Google

(Free Press Release) Cairo, Egypt August 15, 2011 Egypt Yellow Pages Ltd, the Local Search Company, has signed a partnership agreement with Google.

Under the agreement, Egypt Yellow Pages Ltd will provide Google with more than 200,000 Egypt business listings for inclusion on the Google Places and Google Maps products.

Egypt Yellow Pages Ltd will give Google not only the basic information of each listing, such as the telephone number and address, but also rich content attributes, like as images, videos, working hours, and payment methods that will enrich the user experience.

Egypt Yellow Pages Ltd has the most complete and accurate database of business listings covering Egypt. Of the more than 200,000 listings included in the Egypt Yellow Pages Ltd database, 70% are currently geocoded.

“This partnership will make us Google‘s largest local search content partner in Egypt,” said Marc Lambert, Managing Director of Egypt Yellow Pages Ltd.

The data is being availed on Google Places and Google Maps during the month of September.
