Deven Bhojani to direct Sumit Sambhal Lega

 

One of the most loved shows of all times - Everybody Loves Raymond, is soon coming to India. STAR Plus officially acquired the rights to the adaptation of this globally acclaimed show, bringing the Indian Entertainment Industry one step closer to Hollywood. The hugely popular show that has already been successfully adapted in many countries like Russia, Israel, Poland, Egypt is banking on the universally relatable concept to establish a connect with the Indian audience.

 

The makers have roped in actor comedian DevenBhojani to direct the show. Deven is known for his excellent comic timing and his set to wear the director’s hat for this show. Deven, who has always juggled between acting and direction, says, "I have completed a filmmaking course from Los Angeles and looking forward to helming the new show."

 

SumitSambhalLega is the story that showcases the plight of the married man in a light hearted way. Namit Das has been roped in to play the lead Sumit and the show is all set to launch soon on STAR Plus
