27 December, 2013: Erlend Bakke’s new book “Never Work Again” is already an international bestseller just three months after launch with sales driven by a widely held desire to escape the rat race and get more from life.

Never Work Again

Author and entrepreneur Erlend Bakke’s launched his second book “Never Work Again” in September and already it has hit the bestseller lists in the US, Canada and the UK.

Never Work Again, which is subtitled “Work Less, Earn More and Live Your Freedom”, has definitely captured the imagination. And if feedback is anything to go on, the book’s rapid success is driven by a widespread and deeply held desire to escape the rat race and get more from life.

The philosophy of the book is simple. “Yes, money is important,” explains author Erlend, “but ultimately it’s about following your passions and living the life of your dreams.” The question you will answer as you read through the book is “what does freedom mean to me?”

Erlend is certainly practises what he preaches. Despite being the CEO of three successful companies with a combined twenty staff he only works an average of just five hours a week. Erlend’s ability to live this “dream lifestyle,” combining both financial freedom and time freedom, is possible due to his mastery of ethical outsourcing — something which he teaches in his book.

A tale of two books

Never Work Again is, for all practical purposes, not one book but two — and that’s what makes it so useful. The first half of the book, as already mentioned, deals with the more philosophical elements — the need to understand what it is you want from life and the importance of knowing what your passion is.

The second half of the book is practical and full of action steps. It focuses on steps required to create a “no money down” virtual business. As well as going through the process of starting, automating and outsourcing a business, Erlend provides several business blueprints. These are blueprints that the reader can follow in the knowledge that they are tried and tested virtual business models. In other words, the book gives the reader practical steps they can follow to make financial and time freedom a reality in their own lives.

Never Work Again has been described as like Tim Ferriss’ book “The 4-Hour Workweek,” but with more emphasis on the practical steps needed to actually set up and run an outsourced business.

Never Work Again is available from all good bookshops including Amazon where it is available both in hardcopy and as a Kindle book. Click here to get your copy of Never Work Again
