Daikin India expands its strategic footprint into Rajasthan; launches next gen refrigerant HFC32 based Inverter AC products

 Targets an impressive 20% market revenue growth this fiscal

Jaipur After becoming the fastest growing HVAC player in the Indian market, Daikin Air-conditioning India Pvt. Ltd. now looks towards strengthening & expanding its domestic market share in Rajasthan. In the said effort, the 100% subsidiary of Daikin Industries Ltd., Japan — the world’s No. 1 air-conditioning company forays into the region with a range of Inverter split air-conditioning units powered by next generation refrigerant HFC32.

In an interaction today, Mr. Kanwal Jeet Jawa, Managing Director, Daikin Airconditioning India Pvt. Ltd introduced a range of new Inverter Air-Conditioners using Next-Generation green Refrigerant - HFC32 manufactured at Neemrana, Rajasthan. With an industry-leading lineup of products, Daikin seeks to bring pioneering technology to the strategic Rajasthan market, and thus create a platform which will help build upon a strong brand positioning pan-India.

By consolidating its presence across strategic Tier II & III markets in the country, Daikin India eyes at 20% growth in its turnover by the end of the current fiscal. The country’s second largest player aims to expand its brand reach by increasing the Daikin exclusive Solution Plaza (DSP) footprint to over 200 stores from the current 100 stores, and by expanding its National Dealership Network to 2500 from the current 1800 plus.

Daikin’s Inverter split air conditioner range is engineered using the latest HFC32 based technology which bear only one-third of the global warming potential (GWP) when compared with R410A & R22 refrigerants. HFC32 based energy efficient AC’s which offers greater electricity savings are finding a huge acceptance amongst discerning customers of today. This new range of Inverter split ACs are available at a starting price point of Rs. 35,400/- onwards.
