We apologise for the long delay in presenting the results, alas this has been a real tough genre to choose from.
Another month, another first-class entry from talented writers, and, as always, only one winner.
The genre was Crime. This was interpreted in several ways, all equally valid.
The winner chosen was Patsy Collins for her book Escape To The Country. Congratulations to Patsy.

Patsy Collins lives on the south coast of England, with her fiance.

She entered Creative Print Publishing's monthly competition after featuring it on her blog and encouraging other writers to have a go.
She decided to follow her advice and when she was informed her story, 'Escape to the Country' had beaten over 600 other novels and would therefore be published she was very pleased she did.
'Escape to the Country' is her first published novel. It's set in Kent, a county she visits regularly for the wonderful scenery, gorgeous gardens and historic buildings. Patsy likes to research her stories thoroughly, so before writing this story she lived on a small farm for 26 years and learned to milk cows, drive tractors and deliver calves just as her main character Leah does. She also tried getting rescued from mud by handsome strangers, but was less successful at that.
