April 14, 2016, Los Angeles, CA, USA--Pot-O-Coffeeâ„¢, one of the largest and fastest growing cannabis infused beverage product lines, was pleased to be included in the most recent episode of the podcast 'Investing in Cannabis', where co-founder Mark Englestead was interviewed by Brandon David.
Pot~O~Coffeeâ„¢ offers a range of premium cannabis beverage blends range of that include coffee, tea, and cocoa infused with THC dosing of 10mg, 50mg, and 100mg. The product is sold in Keurig-compatible cups as well as single serve pods. Pot~O~Coffeeâ„¢ also offers a line of products with CBD from agricultural hemp, supplied by CV Sciences (OTC: CANV).
During the interview, Englestead, spoke of the beverages not having a cannabis flavor or aftertaste, which was confirmed by David during the on-air product tasting. The fully lab tested cannabis extract utilized for the creation of the Pot-O-Coffeeâ„¢ product line, consistently reports 84-87% THC content as well as being mold and pesticide free. He further explained the fractionating process that removes terpenes that can affect the flavor of the coffee, tea, or cocoa. This solvent-free concentrate, created by LoudPack Extracts, is triple distilled and fully decarboxylated. Then, the Brand's own patent pending emulsified cannabis powder is created, which is then added into each unit at the prescribed dose rate.
Protecting the product through patents will likely prove challenging, but the brand has invested heavily in the process and is up for the challenge. Pot-O-Coffeeâ„¢ will be introducing decaffeinated and flavored products in the near future. Current sales consist of a mix of 60% coffee, 30% tea and 10% cocoa. The brand is moving into Colorado with a partner Evolab this month and expects to sign a licensing agreement for the states of Washington and Oregon in May. Additionally, the brand is positioned to make its entrance into the lucrative Nevada market with prospective partner Vegas Valley Growers (VVG).
