BIG MAGIC PROVIDES FIRST-EVER TICKET TO STARDOM FOR THE YOUTH OF CENTRAL INDIA WITH “BIG FAME STAR”
RENOWNED TELEVISION ACTOR ANUP SONI ROPED IN TO JUDGE THE SHOW
AUDITIONS TO KICK-OFF IN CENTRAL INDIA STARTING 19TH JANUARY, 2013
Lucknow, December 20, 2012: BIG MAGIC, Reliance Broadcast Network Limited’s No.1 regional general entertainment channel from the Hindi speaking heartland of Central India, today announced its promise to provide the youth of the region with the first-ever ticket to stardom with its newest show, BIG Fame Star. Renowned television actor Anup Soni, one of the judges for the show, unveiled the ‘Ticket to Stardom’ and also revealed that auditions for the show will kick off in Central India starting 19th January, 2012.
Auditions for BIG Fame Star will be held in 12 cities in Central India including Lucknow, Indore, Kanpur, Bhopal, Agra, Patna, Aligarh, Muzaffarpur, Allahabad, Ranchi, Jaunpur and Varanasi. Following the local auditions, 50 contestants will be shortlisted to participate in the Mega audition. At this stage, 16 finalists will be selected for the galas and they will undergo intense training and grooming to become the ‘BIG Fame Star’. Joining Anup Soni as a fellow judge on the show will be acclaimed actress Tisca Chopra. The show will be hosted by television actor Rithvik Dhanjani.
Speaking about his involvement on the show, actor Anup Soni said, “I have acted in multiple movies and television shows, hosted television series, and even done some theatre, but this is the first time I will be judging a show. BIG Fame Star is a one-of-its-kind hunt which has been initiated by BIG MAGIC which aims to find the most talented individuals from Central India whose eyes have seen dreams of fame and stardom. I am really excited about this new innings and hope that my fans and audiences appreciate my contribution on the show.”
