Bebo loses her berth on Chennai Express!

Director Rohit Shetty put to rest all rumours about Kareena Kapoor being cast opposite Shah Rukh Khan in his next venture, Chennai Express and said that he is yet to zero in on the leading lady. Rumours are strife that Deepika Padukone may be cast opposite King Khan in this film.

"I have not really (approached Kareena Kapoor), she knows what I am making. I might do something else with Kareena," Rohit Shetty told PTI in an interview. "Just wait for ten days and then everyone will come to know who it is. In ten days time, we will announce our heroine," added Shetty.

Chennai Express will be Rohit Shetty's first film without his close friend, Ajay Devgn. Devgn has featured in all the eight films, that Shetty has directed so far. Clearing the air about the relationship he shares with Devgn, Shetty said, "There is no fight, there is no negativity happening between us. We are working together forSingham 2. I don't think people should question the bond we share," Rohit Shetty said.

Chennai Express will go on floors from the end of September and release would happen mid-next year. Chennai Express is a story about a man who travels from Mumbai to Rameshwaram and what happens during the journey. The film will be a total commercial - "Rohit Shetty style", where one would get to see his signature style like cars blowing up.
