Sizzling Bollywood and television actress, Barkha Bisht in Yeh Hai Aashiqui

Sizzling bombshell, Barkha Bisht who was last seen in Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela, is all set to play the protagonist in bindass’ show Yeh Hai Aashiqui. The show that chronicles unusual love stories will showcase a beautiful story of how despite societal hurdles, the two lovers stick by each other through thick and thin. Barkha will play the character of Urmi, an extremely supportive and caring lady who falls prey to daunting disease, AIDS. Starring opposite her is Shravan Reddy playing the male protagonist, Arjun who falls in love with Urmi despite her illness and stands by her till the end.
Talking about her experience on Yeh Hai Aashiqui, Barkha said “I’m really fond of Yeh Hai Aashiqui and I have been following the show. They portray some of the most beautiful and touching love stories and I am glad to be a part of it. Working with bindass was a wonderful experience with few of the most talented people around and shooting for the episode felt as if I shot for a short-film. My character — Urmi, is a very simple woman who loves her job and is happy with her life despite her gloomy married life.”
Barkha has shown her talent not only by acting in popular shows like Parvarrish — Kuchh Khattee Kuchh Meethi, Sajan Ghar Jaana Hai and Kkavyanjali but has proved her dancing skills after her stint in Rajneeti and Bengali film, Dui Prithibi. She has shown her versatility by hosting Comedy Circus Ke Ajoobe and Popkorn Newz. It would indeed be a treat to watch this talented actress play an impactful character.
