Jenna Longmire re-releases her long awaited debut album Resistance after overcoming the adversity and grief that stood in her way.
Some artists go into the studio and record an album and release it shortly after it is pressed and delivered. That was the plan for Resistance but you know what they say about best laid plans. As fate would have it this was not to be as shortly after Longmire’s CD was released she was in a near fatal car crash that left her injured and hospitalized.
Longmire ended up spending weeks in the hospital and months of healing and rehabilitation followed. Just as she was getting her footing, her beloved father passed away. His death was devastating to her and put her plans on hold again as she reeled from that loss.
Her father was her biggest fan and she knows in her heart and soul that he would want her to go forward with the CD release and she wants to fulfill his wishes and make him proud. The official re-release of Jenna Longmire’s CD Resistance is November 15th, 2015.
Resistance is a collection of sophisticated songs delivered by layered heartfelt lyrics and vocals by this Americana Pop Artist. Resistance has 12 tracks that are not stopped and started by time constraints. Each song has a life of its own and paints a picture clearly and distinctly like watching a motion picture set to music. This is a beautiful, poignant debut album by Jenna Longmire and just the beginning of great things to come.
