Mumbai, August 7, 2013 — The Indian woman, modern and traditional in the same breath, with great willpower and commitment, is the beloved character that Sony Entertainment Television celebrates in ‘Kehta Hai Dil… Jee Le Zara’. Keeping up with its promise of continuously innovating and developing new show concepts Sony Entertainment Television launched this show today. Starting August 15, the show chronicles the life of Saanchi, a strong, selfless, free-spirited woman living on her own terms and spreading happiness in and around her dear ones lives.
Produced by Rose Audio Visuals Pvt Ltd, Kehta Hai Dil….Jee Le Zara, set in Panchgani, is a glimpse into 34 year old Saanchi’s (Sangeeta Ghosh) life, who manages the family’s strawberry farm after the loss of both her parents. For over a decade, her responsibilities are many, but Saanchi has willingly chosen to enjoy her duties. A man or marriage is not on her agenda. Her two grandmothers and two siblings, plus her beloved father’s farm, make her universe. Saanchi only focuses on building and securing the future of her family. But as they say — destiny works in mysterious ways and in walks Dhruv Goel (Ruslaan Mumtaz) a suave and wealthy lawyer who is prepared to change Saanchi’s outlook towards her own life! Two unlikely protagonists whose paths converge to create an exceptional love story.

In the lead roles are two exceptional actors — Sangeeta Ghosh who has a body of solid, successful lead TV roles and Ruslaan Mumtaz, who has made his mark as a hero in Bollywood and now makes his debut on Indian Television with this show. In character roles as the two grandmothers are two renowned actors of the Hindi entertainment industry, namely Sulabha Deshpande and Meenakshi Sethi, they are ably supported by Delnaz Irani(Dilshad), Nabeel Ahmed (Advait Prabhu) and Priyanka Sidana (Prachi Prabhu). Written by Niranjan Iyengar and Directed by Siddharth Sengupta,Kehta Hai Dil… Jee Le Zara will strike a chord in the hearts of Indian women for its relatable story.
