AnuragKashyap’sThree Months Exile Thanks To His Unlucky Suit

Every director has his share of best and worst moments in his career. While many do not like to recall their worst moment, director AnuragKashyap wears his heart out on his sleeve and opens up on UTV Stars’ show ‘YehHaiMeriKahaani’ about his difficult times.Even though the director faced hardships with the release of his directorial debut ‘Paanch’, he kept his hope and looked forward tore-release of his project, ‘Black Friday’. His excitement knew no limit; he got his very first suit stitched for the big premiere of the film. Just then misfortune knocked his door and Black Friday got stalled.

When AnuragKashyap spoke his heart out, he expressed, “The most horrifying moment for me, worse than Paanch being unreleased, was the re-release of ‘Black Friday’ in 2005 when I had got my first suit stitched for the premiere of the film.I wore that suit and headed for the premier.” Recalling the day, the director further added, “Just when I was about to leave my house I received a call. The film had got stalled again. Wearing that same suit I entered my room and didn’t come out for three months. This has been my worst moment so far.”

With striking films, AnuragKashyap has been on the rise but going back to the past he openly talks about the path from the brink of breakdown.
