Ambuja Cement launch estate-of-the-art Concrete Lab in Bilaspur

After Raipur, one more lab at Chhattisgarhto provide advanced building material testing services

 

Ambuja Cement,the undisputed leader among cement companies in India haslaunched a state-of-the-artConcrete Lab in Bilaspur,that will provide advanced building material testing facilities toReal Estate Developers, Individual House Builders and Contractors.

Ambuja’snew concrete lab which is locatedat Tikrapara in Bilaspur was inauguratedby Chief Guest Engineer RavindraKesarwani and ArchitectDebashishGhatak. The inauguration was also attended by local dealers, developers and construction professionals.

This is the second concrete lab after Raipur in this stateAnuragSullerey, Technical Head (Customer Support Group) Ambuja Cement Limited speaking on the launch of the new concrete testing lab said, “We are pleased to launch the new concrete testing lab that will cater to the real estate fraternity in Bilaspur. There is a huge need for new age building material testing facilities, given the rising instances of inferior products being sold in the market.Our product testing services will help Developers and Individual House Builders in selecting quality building materials and durable concrete products.”

Mr Sullerey further added, “Cement companies in the region currently offer mobile Concrete Testing Vans, which are limited to compressive strength testing with manual CTMs that are not fullycalibrated. Ambuja has always believed in raising the bar by offering innovative solutions that add value to stakeholders, and our new concrete lab will take material testing to the next level with additional services.”

The mission of the new Concrete Lab is to test the quality and endurance of building materials (Sand, Aggregatesand Brick) and other advanced concrete products. The lab is fully equipped with technology for providing building material analysis, concrete cube testing and concrete mix design and is the second concrete lab by Ambuja in the State of Chhattisgarhto offer such facilities.

In a similar endeavor, Ambuja has earlier introduced Knowledge Centers across India, targeted at the Architecture, Engineering and Construction Communities.A wide array of programs, are conducted at these Centre’srelevant to the communities. Some of the programmes include lectures and workshops for construction professionals and Training Programs for Employees and Channel Partners. The initiative has received an impressive response till date.
