Alok Nath and BIG MAGIC’s Teen Nadaan visit Lucknow
Alok Nath, Gaurav Sharma, Gunn Kansara and Jay Pathak from BIG MAGIC’s Nadaniyaan visited the city of Nawabs today
Lucknow, 22nd March 2014: The cast of BIG MAGIC’s Nadaniyaan had a blast in Lucknow today when they visited the Nawabi city for a promotional visit. Alok Nath who is all set to play a cameo in BIG MAGIC’s Nadaniyaan as ‘Babuji’ blessed fans in Lucknow with his presence along with Gaurav Sharma (Pappu), Gunn Kansara (Chandu) and Jay Pathak (Nandu). The four artistes were seen talking about their upcoming episodes and enjoying the hospitality of Lucknow.
After riding the social networking wave with his sanskaari thinking and aashirwaads, Alok Nath is all set to now entertain audiences along with the audience’s favourite teen nadaans. He will essay the role of Pappu’s dead father who has always taught him to be righteous throughout his childhood. Audiences will have a rollicking time as Pappu tries to twist Babuji’s sanskaars to his advantage only to end up being scolded yet again. The viewers are in for a hilariously chatpata time with the sanskaari Babujiand the ku-sanskaari Pappu!
“Lucknow has always been one of my favorite cities in India. The culture and the people are amazing. When the producers told us our biggest fan base came from Lucknow, we decided to drop into the city to personally thank our fans.” confessed Gaurav Sharma (Pappu) during his visit.
The hilarious quartet was greeted by hordes of fans that thronged to meet them. “There were so many people that we decided to hold a spur-of-the moment voting contest to see which character was their favorite.” quips Jay Pathak (Nandu). The close bond between the four was clearly visible as they jokingly teased one another and resonated with each other’s thinking.
Gunn Kansara who plays Chandni gushed, “Coming to Lucknow has been a very special experience and I hope to come back soon. The energy of this place is awesome and the people are extremely warm and cordial. We have met so many fans who have thanked us for the show and who have told they can’t wait to see what kind of trouble Nandu and Pappu get into next. It’s always encouraging to directly interact with our fans.”
Produced by Creative Eye Productions, Nadaniyaan revolves around the Verma family whose conversations and situations promise to keep viewers in splits. A self-proclaimed writer, a ditsy wife and a clumsy younger brother; each with their own unique perspective of life constantly land each other in amusing situations with plenty of misunderstandings, crazy pranks and comic characters.
