The students of SGI were also invited by NDTV, one of the nation's leading television channels for a pre-budget session in 2011. It was very beneficial for the students who attended as they got insights of a budget and also got an exposure to how the Indian media operates by interacting with some of India's top media personnel. A Microsoft Office Specialist Certificate Training was also held at the campus to train the students. This training would enhance the scope of job opportunities of all those who attended the training.
