Abishek Tewari falls in love with Sadiya Siddiqui on Yeh Hai Aashiqui
~The actors will be portraying a heart-warming love story which questions the societal taboos related to love and relationships~
This week, Yeh Hai Aashiqui brings a story that often unheard of in our society. The upcoming episode will feature a unique love story between an elderly woman and a young boy where the woman is in denial about her feelings due to the consequences she would have to go through, in the society.
The episode will see well-known actor Abhishek Tewari as Nakul, falling in love with ‘Tulsi’ his best friend’s mother, played by the renowned TV actress Sadiya Siddiqui. Sadiya will portray the character of a strong woman who works in an NGO and lives life on her own terms. Due to family issues, she gets disconnected from her own son that leaves him prejudiced against her. In the journey of reuniting with her son, she meets his friend Nakul, who falls in love with her.
While talking about her character and the show, Sadiya said, “As an actor, it’s essential to keep on experimenting with different characters but unfortunately television usually provides very little space to experiment. When Yeh Hai Aashiqui was offered to me, I readily accepted it solely because of the script, as it was very different from what I have done on TV till now. It has been a great learning experience working with such a talented crew and director which has definitely helped me polish my acting skills too.”
Along with Sadiya Siddiqui, the charming Abhishek Tewari will be stirring emotions of the audiences with his power-packed performance on the show which will be hosted by popular television actor, Rithvik Dhanjani who will take the viewers through the entire story
