USGlass Magazine names GlasWeld as winner Best Glass Repair/Scratch Removal Site category.

Bend, OR, August 05, 2009 -- GlasWeld, a complete solutions provider for the glass repair industry, announced today that its Web site at www.glasweld.com placed first in the USGlass Magazine 2009 Web Contest in the “Best Glass Repair/Scratch Removal Site” category. USGNN.com distributed a special newscast last week announcing the full list of winners at http://usgnn.com/newsNewscast20090731.htm

“Our Web site judges used the same criteria that is used for the Webby Awards,” said Megan Headley, Editor of USGlass Magazine in an email. “Some of the criteria we used to select the winning sites were: content, structure and navigation, visual design, functionality, interactivity and overall experience.”

GlasWeld went through a comprehensive re-branding process a few years ago that included a redesigned logo, tagline, marketing materials and a new Web site. The logo and Web site page designs were developed by branding specialists Brand Navigation, and the site was implemented by Smart Solutions. Both companies are based in Central Oregon. The Web site is managed in-house by GlasWeld‘s marketing department.

“Almost immediately after we launched our new Web site, we started getting inquiries from more national and internationally based clients,” said Lori Patch, marketing director for GlasWeld. “The design of our site reflects our company‘s commitment to professionalism and our years of industry expertise, which boosts the confidence of potential clients who visit our site. It truly communicates who we are as a company, and that was the goal. We are honored to be recognized by an industry leader like USGlass.”
